I was fortunate to start my real estate career in 1999 at what was then the 4th largest Real Estate Investment Trust in the United States; Silicon valley based - Spieker Properties. 20+ years of exposure to investors, developers and landlords has afforded me a unique perspective in my role as a real estate advisor.
I founded Dupav Commercial with the unwavering belief in the unbiased representation of businesses that rarely get a fair shake at the bargaining table when negotiating with sophisticated landlords and developers for commercial office space.

I've participated in excess of 4 million SF of leasing in Northern California - a sampling of notable past transactions include Black & Veatch (35,935 SF), Versant Health (28,091 SF), One, Inc. (15,811 SF), Sacramento Self Help Housing (13,136 SF), Harris and Sloan (11,300 SF), Sierra Pacific Mortgage (7,997 SF) and Bentley Systems (5,237 SF).

Personal
I was born, raised and educated in the Republic of South Africa - graduating from the University of Kwazulu Natal (BscQs.). I have the good fortune of being married to my wife Julie for 24 years - we're proud parents of 2 college age daughters. When not in the office, I'm likely traveling in the wine country or supporting my favorite rugby team - the reigning world champion Springboks.
