That foundation, subsequently enhanced by investors, developers, and landlords, gives me a perspective few tenant-only brokers can offer: I've sat on both sides of the negotiating table.

Born and raised in South Africa, I graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a degree in Quantity Surveying — useful training, it turns out, for a career spent scrutinizing lease economics. I've been married to my wife Julie for 28 years and we're proudly new empty-nesters with two daughters making their own way in the world. When not in the office, you can likely find me traveling or cheering on my beloved world champion rugby team - the Springboks.
